Miracle Hills Animal Hospital is excited to offer you a new service - Cryotherapy. Cryotherapy is the use of nitrous oxide to freeze away skin lesions. The CryoPen that Dr. Schreiber will use has different applicator tips that provide pen point accuracy when performing cryotherapy on your pet's bumps. You may be familiar with this procedure if you have ever had a wart removed at your own doctor's office.

If your pet has a skin tag, papilloma, or other growth that is at the skin's surface, cyrotherapy may be a great option to remove these unsightly bumps. With the use of cryotherapy anesthesia is not needed which is ideal for our older patients. The procedure is quick, effective, and best yet, can be done in the exam room. A cryotherapy appointment will take just minutes then you and your pet will be on your way. After cryotherapy has been completed, we ask that you monitor the bumps at home for the next few weeks as it can take up to two weeks for the bumps to completely disappear. We will also schedule a two week recheck appointment to re-evaluate the masses and make sure we get the results we want.

Call us now 402-492-9022 for more information or to schedule an appointment to have your pet's bump removed!

The dental care process for my dog CoCo was AMAZING! This was the first oral check up for CoCo and the staff was to great about explaining everything to me. They kept me 'in the loop' on all they were doing and how CoCo was handling the process. They truly care about my dog and I couldn't be more appreciative.
